Victory Over Affliction is a one-day women’s retreat offering space to pause, reflect, and step toward healing and renewal. Guest speaker’s bios are available below:

Lillian Moyet

Lillian Moyet is an ordained minister, prophetess, author, and motivational speaker. She holds a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Grace International Bible University and has dedicated many years to teaching and encouraging others through faith-centered leadership. Lillian has been married to her husband, Bart Moyet, for over 40 years, and together they have three adult children and five grandchildren.

Rose Shabaya

Rose Shabaya is a missionary with Go To Nations, serving full time since 2019. Born in Kenya and later raised in England, her early exposure to missions shaped a lifelong calling to serve others through faith and outreach. In 2004, Rose followed God’s call into full-time international ministry and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, where she helped plant a non-denominational church and continues to serve on the Intercessory Prayer and Missions Team.

Rose has a deep passion for evangelism and mentoring women. She launched YoungLives in Jacksonville, a ministry supporting teen mothers, which grew from one young woman to an outreach serving multiple schools and mentoring over one hundred teen moms. Currently based at the Go To Nations World Headquarters, Rose serves on Team Esther, ministering to women and families locally and internationally, and has participated in missions across several countries. Her heart remains centered on empowering women to live fully in God’s purpose.

Duchess McKnight

Duchess McKnight is the CEO of Duchess Delectables, a boutique bakery known for its signature bundt cakes. She is also a writer, author, and motivational speaker with a passion for inspiring others through her work and life experiences. Duchess holds an MBA from Florida A&M University and is a proud mother to her 18-year-old son.
